The Reflected

This light and space project is an experiment born out of the idea of combining color, acrylics, movement, and natural light. As light passes through acrylics of different shapes, colors, and sizes, we can see reflections in both sunlit and shaded spaces. In the lighted areas, we can see shadows of the colors and shapes of the acrylics, and in the shadowed areas, we can see shimmering forms reflecting the light. The play created by the occasional spinning movement creates a magical atmosphere as the light moves around us. We also used wind to make the mobile move without any forced contact from the outside, and we used sunlight rather than artificial light to enhance the reaction created when the source of light meets the material.
